Coronavirus: Phase 2 in the mountains

From 4th May 2020 people in the italian region Veneto are allowed to exercise outdoors at any distance from home.
By staying within the region, it’s possible therefore to reach the chosen destination with your own vehicle or by public transport. This new opening allows people to enjoy the wonderful places of the territory, remebering that maintaining social distancing is necessary.

Here is a list of rules to follow, if you choose to do physical activity in the mountains:

You can reach your destination with your own vehicle, or by using public transportation. In a personal vehicle, social distancing of 1 meter is necessary, unless the people are cohabiting.
Once arrived at your destination, remember that all journey are are subject to the general ban on gathering and the requirement to respect the interpersonal distance . The use of face masks and gloves (or hand sanitizer) is compulsory.
It is however not recommended to undertake excursions by your own, basic rules are always the same: be aware of your limits and do not push them, be self-sufficient and inform your family or friends about your itinerary and your schedulted return time.
All mountain huts are closed during this period.
The use of bivouacs is forbidden during planned excursions. Their use is only allowed in case of emergency. if you stay in a bivouac, remember that you are taking responsibility for the risk of contagion, as the place is not under control.
